Outer Reef Tours
If you are willing to start your day early, the deeper waters beyond the barrier reef offer and adventure like no other and give you a chance to land species including Snapper, Grouper, Dorado, Mackerel, Barracuda, Jacks, King Fish, Queen Fish, Sailfish, White & Blue Marlin, & Small Tuna. These are typically caught by trolling or live bait/bottom fishing outside the reef.
Inner Reef Tours
You don't have to venture far to find great fishing in Belize. The cayes and coral beds within the barrier reef offer a wide variety of fish that are both fun to catch and even better to eat. Typical fly fishing species include the popular Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon, as well as Jacks, Snapper, and Snook. Trolling with light tackle will also bring in Snapper, Grouper, Jacks, Mackerel and Barracuda.
